Three of the most essential remedies for families – reached for in childhood fevers, first stage inflammations such as sore throats, coughs, colds, ear infections, teething and pain.

Whether symptoms come on suddenly or overlap (as they often do in children), these remedies can be used individually or can be combined into a blend when needed.

• Aconite – best taken at first sign of illness, for sudden onset inflammations, high fevers, colds, earache, shock, fear, or after exposure to cold wind
• Belladonna – for sudden onset inflammations, high fevers, heat, redness and intense throbbing pain
• Chamomilla – for teething, irritability, can’t be pleased, anger, oversensitivity to pain and sleeplessness

How to dose: Add two drops of each remedy (Aconite, Belladonna, and Chamomilla) into 500ml of water and shake vigorously, sip from a water bottle or use a teaspoon/syringe of the medicated water as required, reducing frequency as improvement begins.
